WHIP out the legwarmers and moonwalk to Tindarra Resort –Tindarra’s Time Warp is almost here.

Featuring live music from a popular Melbourne band, this whirlwind event is a one-night-only chance to dress up and dance through the decades.

Kicking off at 7pm on Saturday, June 2 with the ’70s, the band will change eras – and outfits – each hour.

So you can look forward to grooving in the ’70s, having a thriller ’80s, whipping out your macarena in the 90s and partying to hits from the 2000s to now.

People are encouraged to dress to an era, with the best-dressed receiving a dinner voucher for a local restaurant.

Tindarra event manager Vanessa Bronsgeest said the resort had the idea for the event after last year’s ’80s event was a runaway success.

“We had such an amazing response we decided to make it annual, but changed it slightly this year to keep it fresh and fun,” she said.

But she said this year’s event promises to be just as popular.

In fact, you’d better get in quick, as tickets are expected to sell – fast.

Book before April 1 and you could get your hands on some exciting bonuses, including the chance to win a three-bedroom villa onsite on the night.

Early bird sales will also give you entry to an additional ‘pre warm-up hour’ including canapes and a complementary cocktail on arrival.
