Caldwell a ‘no-brainer’ to host music festival

Featuring soulful folk songs that capture both the beautiful and dark elements of the human experience, Aussie songbird Claire Anne Taylor’s music ranges from warm, mesmerising ballads to epic anthems.

THE Festival of the Small Halls is back — this time crossing the river from Girgarre to Caldwell.

Home to abundant community markets, fine wineries and picturesque walking tracks, Caldwell was a no-brainer for hosting the event.

Musicians Claire Anne Taylor and Dave Gunning will headline this year’s festival.

Featuring soulful folk songs that capture both the beautiful and dark elements of the human experience, Aussie songbird Claire Anne Taylor’s music ranges from warm, mesmerising ballads to epic anthems.

Travelling all the way from the Great White North, Canadian folk singer-songwriter Dave Gunning brings 11 albums-worth of celebrated musical experience to the table.

The festival will be held on March 22, with doors opening at 6.30pm.

Tickets cost $25 for full admission, with free entry for children 15 and under.
