MORE than 20 performing arts students are hoping for an audience when they showcase their talents this month.
Dillmac director Liz Dillon said the Echuca and Kyabram students, who recently performed Godspell as a team, would be performing their own solos across two weeks.
"As part of their weekly classes, each student gets time to write, design and choreograph their own chosen piece with minimal assistance from tutors," she said.
"Some will be dancing, singing or doing a monologue while others will combine two or three of these areas."
Ten students will perform next Wednesday, August 14, and 11 students on August 21 from 6.45pm at Radcliffe's.
Local industry identities including Echuca-Moama Theatre Company's Darcy Elliott and Trish Deakin, who is also on the Georgy Award committee, as well as Dillmac and Jason Coleman Ministry of Dance graduate Sarah Wheelhouse, will give the students valuable critique and feedback after the show.
Tickets, which include supper, are $25 and available from Liz on 0438 521 229.
"We are also giving away a bus trip ticket to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for one lucky person who shares our event on our Facebook page or messages to order tickets," Liz said.
