Daine will rock Kyvalley

By Alex Gretgrix

KYVALLEY Hall will be rocking and rolling when Yarrawonga's own Daine Runnalls takes to the stage next month.

After attending music school in Melbourne, Daine came back to his roots to perform in pubs across northern Victoria and has done so for 15 years.

He's been kept on his toes as he moves between being a singer, songwriter, recording artist, tutor and jingle writer.

His cheeky sense of humour along with his fantastic voice always keeps the audience charmed and entertained.

He is the master of diversity, with his original and cover songs ranging from folk, pop, rock and rock 'n' roll.

So if you like songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s through until today, why not book a table to secure your place?

If there is one solo performer who knows how to get a crowd singing along, it's Daine Runnalls; so get your song requests ready to sing along or dance to.

His new album, Funeral for a Larrikin, will be available to purchase on the day.

Sunday Afternoon Melodies will take place at the Kyvalley Hall from 2pm on September 8.

The event is presented by the Kyvalley Swimming Club. Admission is $20 per person and includes afternoon tea. Bookings are appreciated and can be made by calling Beryl on 0408 137 635 or Bev on 0417 360 687/58 521 853.
